The City
of Mill Creek began as a planned and gated community in the 1970's.
Mill Creek Location
Mill Creek, is located in
Snohomish County, 28 miles north of
Seattle, between Bothell and Everett and convenient to I-5. Mill Creek is easily accessible off the 164th exit of I-5
heading east. The city is located in close proximity to a major
technology corridor, and an extension campus of the University of
Washington.
Many development centers
around a major 18 hole golf course. Boulevards and Avenues with trees,
sidewalks and nature paths make this a walker's paradise.
The
Mill Creek Town Center is a new exciting new project.
The 23-acre site is a mixture of retail, office, residential and
entertainment areas. Planning and design incorporate plazas and parks
while utilizing the natural features of this beautiful area.
One of the area's largest
shopping malls, the
Alderwood Mall is conveniently located near Mill
Creek. The Mall is expending and adding 50 new stores and restaurants.
Mill Creek offers 3 public
parks, a community center and a branch library. Fun centers annually
around the Run of the Mill 5.5K Fun Run and Walk event, which attracts 500
to 700 runners and walkers from around the area.
Mill Creek is served by
Everett School District, with Mill Creek Elementary, Heatherwood Middle
School and Henry M. Jackson High School.
